The Pop Star

A couple years ago I took an quick contract as an excuse to get into some UE5 which was in pre-release at the time. The goal of this project was to proof and create an avatar for stylized "anime inspired cosmic popstar" that could be used in real time performances. I ended up using the Live Link Face (ARkit) ap to try to achieve this coupled with inputs for the custom head set up that I built from the ground up. I also deigned a couple of out fits with different color ways and makeup options. There's a bunch of wip images from the process here at various stages, unfortunately I don't have access to much of the final in engine shots of it working as I would like. But, it was fun, I got to touch all the different aspects of the engine, from animation to lighting, timeline, etc.
